Wolf Medical Systems Achieves Qualified Service Provider (QSP) Vendor Status in Alberta
Wolf leads the way with successful completion of conformance milestone in Alberta

Vancouver, BC – November 19, 2009 – Wolf Medical Systems, a leading provider of electronic medical records (EMR) software for physician offices and medical clinics across Canada, is pleased to announce that it has received notice of Qualified Service Provider (QSP) in Alberta. Wolf is the first of the three qualified service providers to achieve QSP in Alberta. Wolf is also one of five qualified EMR service providers in British Columbia.

TELUS is also delivering Wolf’s networking solution and Help Desk Services, delivering high-speed high-availability data centre connectivity and a single access point for all aspects of the solution via a 24x7x365 ITIL-certified national Help Desk. Unisys, together with TELUS, is responsible for all aspects of site evaluation and hardware provisioning, configuration and installation. The Wolf solution is certified for delivery with Sun Microsystems’ ultra thin client terminals -- Sun Rays™ – which provide for  increased staff and physician mobility and virtually eliminate desktop maintenance.
