Wolf Medical Systems First Electronic Medical Records Vendor in Canada to Announce Support for 2007 Microsoft Office System

Vancouver, BC – June 21, 2006 – Wolf Medical Systems, a leading provider of electronic medical records (EMR), today announced that the next generation of Wolf EMR products will support the 2007 Microsoft® Office system. Designed by doctors for doctors, Wolf EMR is the result of fifteen years of first hand experience working closely with patients and doctors in a variety of practice settings across the country. When Dr. Brendan Byrne, Wolf's founder and president, first began to practice as a locum in the early 1990s, what he found was shocking: modern medicine spends immense sums of money gathering patient information only to store the majority of this information in poorly organized paper charts with often illegible handwriting. Sitting with patient after patient, he found that it was often difficult to determine what medications a patient was on, let alone their previous medical history.
