Wolf Medical Systems CEO Speaks on the Future of eHealth

Vancouver, BC – November 15, 2011 – Dr. Brendan Byrne, President& CEO of Wolf Medical Systems will be one of the featured panelists at the TechForum to be held November 22 by the British Columbia Technology Industry Association.

Dr. Byrne joins experts from the Provincial Health Services Agency (PHSA) and Telus for a panel discussion about eHealth, and how technology can be used to improve healthcare. Part of the discussion will be about emerging trends and technologies, and how they will shape the future of eHealth in BC and across the country.

Dr. Brendan Byrne is a practicing physician as well as founder, President and CEO of Wolf Medical Systems. A graduate of Yale University and McGill Medical School, he has over 20 years’ experience in family practice, including 7 years as a principal at Columbia Medical Clinic, where the early Wolf software was developed. Brendan has overseen the progression of Wolf from startup in 1998 to its current position as Canada’s largest provider of Cloud-based EMR in Canada, and a Top 100 Technology Company in BC. He is recognized as a leading physician informatics expert in North America and has spoken at many medical and informatics conferences about the importance of leveraging data at the point of care.
